Description
KIM PDF differs from the well-known and widespread competitors by the imposition of PDF pages to complete PDF sheets. There is no change in data format (PDF pages in, PDF sheets out).
- Imposition on PDF-only basis with composite and separated PDFs
- No format change, PDF remains PDF. PostScript data is converted to PDF on import exclusively via standard interfaces (Adobe Acrobat)
- Automatic generation of page previews with definable resolution
- Automatic generation of complete PDF sheets and forwarding to output devices (KIM PDF Auto)
- Operating concept strongly based on manual sheet assembly
- Automatic flutter mark generation (different types)
- Continuous visualization without time expenditure or waiting times due to preview technology
- Individual libraries for e.g. folded sheets, printed sheets
- Saving complete sets of stamps regardless of the print sheet format
- Complete dimensioning (print sheet and printing plate can be displayed)
- Collar offset via paper thickness or max. Expansion possible
- Individual pages can be edited in the offset
- Printout of an aligned sheet as a stand control of the page content (in spot colors)
- Automatic double page detection
- Uses PDF throughout (Krause has recognized this and is implementing it consistently)
- KIM PDF offers the possibility to refer the alignment of all content to references (advantage regarding the reusability of e.g. brand sets for e.g. different formats)
