Impositioning or sheet assembly is one of the first steps in the production of print products. Heidelberg SignaStation provides the prerequisites for an efficient, flexible and secure workflow. The different modes allow the user to respond to a wide range of requirements. From the creation of collective molds to fully automatic imposition. SignaStation processes Postscript, PDF and delta lists and drives postscript-ready rips. Job tickets (PJTFs-Adobe Portable Job Ticket Format) are generated for job ticket-based workflows. A new feature is SignaStation’s JDF (Job Definition Format) output, which is used in conjunction with JDF-based workflows.
